Check out the Rock Hall’s playlist for Ohio’s ‘To the Moon and Back’ road trip, plus other songs for summer drives

CLEVELAND, Ohio — David Bowie, Elton John, DEVO and Earth, Wind & Fire represent a diversity of musical styles, but they have this in common: They all hit the charts with songs about space.

So did Deep Purple, the Beastie Boys, R.E.M. and Stevie Wonder.

Curators at Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently put together a playlist for “To the Moon and Back,” a summer road trip developed by TourismOhio, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and Ohioan Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon.
