When Carlos Portis started his career in marketing and design, he quickly saw a need for innovation.
As a military brat, Portis spent his childhood around the country and the world, living in Japan during his high school years. He was always artistic, building with Legos and creating comic book characters.
At the end of high school, his family moved to Dayton to be near Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Portis enrolled at Sinclair Community College and was guided by an academic advisor who helped him find the right program. He graduated with an associate degree in Visual Communication.
