Cincinnati ranks among top U.S. cities for quick vacation getaway
Ninety percent of Americans prefer short getaways of three nights or less vs. a longer vacation, with millennials fueling the rise of quick getaways, according to a new survey by online travel site Hotwire.
Cincinnati, of course, is among the cities most favored by those travelers.
In the past year, 84% of survey respondents ages 23-38 have booked a trip one week or less out from their departure day, and 40% said they booked the same day. To create the “America’s Best Cities for a Quickie Index,” Hotwire analyzed more than 10,000 internal and external data points across 250 cities in four size categories on three factors:
