Mortar’s William Thomas won’t let himself be boxed in

William Thomas, 33, is expansion director at Mortar Cincinnati.

What was your first job? My entrepreneurial journey began in second grade when I made and sold origami to classmates. My first job in high school was at McDonald’s.

Favorite vacation spot? Lesotho, a small country completely landlocked by South Africa.

What’s your hidden talent? Remaining myself and not allowing myself to be boxed in.
