When Patty Vanderburgh got ready for the gym one freezing winter morning, she had no idea that one inconvenience would turn into a full-scale business.

Before this, Vanderburgh studied marketing at the University of Dayton and later received a master’s in computer education. With her husband in the army, she travelled around the country and worked as a teacher before moving back to Dayton in 1993 to raise a family.
