Payments app Mezu launches digital debit card with Mastercard

Mezu, a privacy-centric payments startup launched in June 2017 by TOA Technologies co-founder Yuval Brisker and his partner Pedro Silva, marks a milestone for its service with the launch of a new digital debit card provided in partnership with Mastercard.

The MezuCard is a co-branded debit card and bank account issued by Community Federal Savings Bank — a community bank in Woodhaven, N.Y., with about $169 million in assets — that allows users to make purchases anywhere in the world Mastercard is accepted.
