A weeklong celebration of entrepreneurship and innovation in Northeast Ohio begins Monday, Nov. 18, with the goal of stimulating the development of new businesses and breaking down the silos that slow down that effort in the region.
Global Entrepreneurship Week Northeast Ohio includes 14 events in Akron, Cleveland and Hudson. Organizer Pauly Suchy said he expects at least 4,000 people to attend at least one event.
The local program is part of an international project that has affiliates in 170 countries. As elsewhere around the world, it is designed to showcase the region’s resources for would-be entrepreneurs and established business operators, give them opportunities to network and educate them on best practices.
