If there’s a word that defines the last decade of the auto industry, that word might be technology.
Everything from what’s inside a vehicle, what powers them and how customers buy cars, trucks and SUVs has seen a drastic upgrade since 2010.
“I think our industry has changed more in the past 10 years than the 50 years before that,” said Rick Ricart, president of Ricart Automotive Group. “Ten years ago, I think it was a battle of quality versus value. Now it’s a battle of technology. Who has the best?”
