Ohio-based CincyTech is one of the largest and most active seed funds in the Midwest. Over the last 12 months, its team has been increasingly busy.
CincyTech, which invests in companies in the bioscience, health care, digital health and software sphere, moved into new digs in a budding new innovation corridor near the University of Cincinnati; adding its 82 portfolio company and counting; and, while team members are mum on the details, per a recent SEC filing, it’s also in the midst of raising its fifth fund.
Mike Venerable, CincyTech’s CEO, said his hometown is an increasing hotbed for startups – and seafood.
