Social platform startup GiveGauge connects local nonprofits, volunteers
When Joe Mazur was president and CEO of the International Soap Box Derby, he was frustrated by the lack of a good system to find volunteers for the organization’s big annual event or to connect volunteers with the organization.
So he created one.
Mazur and his wife, Debbie, developed GiveGauge, a social platform to increase awareness of local nonprofits, match people with volunteer opportunities and involve schools and businesses.
