Participants selected for program that pairs startups with county government
The Cuyahoga County office of Innovation and Performance has partnered with San Francisco nonprofit City Innovate on a pilot program, called Startup in Residence (STiR), to support new companies working with local government agencies to develop technology solutions.
The program’s goal to give emerging and smaller companies — which often are unable to apply for government contracts due to size, financial or time constraints — the opportunity to provide services without risk to the county on a 16-week trial basis.
