A 92-year-old woman got a link from her doctor, suggesting a virtual visit instead of visiting the office during the coronavirus pandemic.
The patient felt comfortable clicking. She recognized the service’s name: Updox, where her grandson works.
“She was able to stay home, she was able to be safe,” said Michael Morgan, CEO of Updox LLC. “Where before I think everybody was worried – the technology barriers, it’s going to be hard for people of all ages to use it – I think all that’s out the window.”
