Surgical navigation startup Centerline Biomedical Inc. of Cleveland said it has been awarded a $1.5 million, Phase II Small Business Innovation Research grant award from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health. The company will use the funding to further develop IOPS, or Intra-Operative Positioning System, an image guidance technology platform originally developed at Cleveland Clinic.
