GlenOak junior wins ‘Stark Tank’
Cloee Snyder loves Christmas. This year, she had a problem.
Her family couldn’t put up one of their artificial trees because when they pulled it out of storage, they discovered it was covered in mold.
The experience led the GlenOak High School junior to invent the Vacc-U-Tree, a vacuum storage system for artificial trees that’s waterproof and protects trees from dust and mold.
Synder’s idea took first place Wednesday among nine high school teams competing in a virtual “Stark Tank” entrepreneurship contest hosted by Strengthening Stark.
