Columbus startup raises $2M as demand for its software soars amid pandemic
Aware, a Columbus startup that helps employers analyze productivity, sentiment and security risks on workplace collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Facebook Workplace, has raised $2.2 million, according to a regulatory filing.
Message volumes on such platforms shot up by 57% in the first weeks of mass shifts to remote work due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a blog post on Aware’s website. Its software also integrates with Slack and Microsoft’s Yammer.
