Cincinnati homebuying startup lands first deal
Homeshake, a new Cincinnati-based homebuying startup, has sold its first home.
Launched earlier this year, Homeshake aims to disrupt the residential real estate industry by creating its real estate marketplace that allows buyers and sellers to negotiate deals directly, rather than through an agent. As a result, sellers can save thousands of dollars on commission.
In the case of Homeshake’s first sell, the owners were able to save roughly $80,000, according to a news release. The house, located at 1015 Grandin Ridge Drive in Hyde Park, sold for $1,450,000.
