Exploring Kelleys Island State Park: camping in a yurt, hiking, fishing, floating in Lake Erie
KELLEYS ISLAND, Ohio — I could hear kids laughing on the beach when I turned out the light in my tent. When I turned it back on, at 5:30 a.m., the only sound I heard was birds chirping.
I woke up early enough to catch a gorgeous summer sunrise on the Lake Erie shore at Kelleys Island State Park. I took a few photos, then waded into the lake, all alone in the water.
