Zoom hangouts, virtual happy hours and remote meetings — how did your company overcome COVID-19 to maintain its great culture?
So far, 2020 has been anything but normal. Startups across Ohio continue to innovate amid COVID-19, and we’ve seen companies pivot to new concepts, adjust to working remotely and even find new strength for their business. We know that even a pandemic can’t ruin the great company culture that we love to celebrate here at TechOhio, so we want to know: How did your business respond to the adversity of 2020 to keep spirits high and work fun?
That’s the theme of the third annual Startup Culture Awards, a search for the Ohio business with the best company culture.
Does your team have an innovative way of getting together remotely? Has your office made safety and sanitation procedures fun? Have you managed to strike the right balance between staying connected and scheduling too many meetings? Whatever it is that makes your culture great, we want to showcase the great work you’re doing in our annual Startup Culture Awards competition.
Last year, we named two winners: NaviStone in Cincinnati and Everykey in Cleveland. This year, we’ll be turning the Startup Culture Awards into a regional showdown, with each area of the state battling for one finalist and one company taking home the statewide award.
We can’t choose the company with the best culture in Ohio without you, so once again we’re turning to the startup community for your nominations and votes. Does your team have what it takes to knock off last year’s champions and be crowned the Startup Culture Award winners? The nomination round starts now, so act fast!
In addition to bragging rights for the year, finalists and the overall winner will be highlighted through a promotional video produced by TechOhio.
We want to hear from you! Spread the word and let’s shine a light on the great work being done at startups around the state — even amid a pandemic. Your participation in this event will help show the tech community the type of world-class innovation that’s taking place in Ohio.
Fill in the form below to submit your nomination — and remember to have friends and colleagues nominate your company too! More nominations increase your chances of moving on to the next round!
