Most startups, small businesses in local survey optimistic about future despite pandemic

CLEVELAND, Ohio — While the long-term impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is yet unknown, startups and small businesses in Northern Ohio remain optimistic about the future, according to a recent survey by JumpStart Inc.

The vast majority of 796 companies that responded to the survey were optimistic about the future of their businesses despite the impact the pandemic is having on the regional economy.

All respondents to this survey are getting help from local entrepreneurial support organizations, such as JumpStart, so these results do not tell the whole entrepreneurial story of the region.
