Film Series highlights tech startups
They may not rival the “Star Wars” movies for a look at the future but a series of online documentaries will offer a look at how entrepreneurs are advancing technology.
North Coast Ventures and KeyBank are sponsoring a free, three-part series of documentary films called “Venture Flicks” that looks at technology and entrepreneurship. The series begins at 5 p.m. Thursday. Sept. 17, with “General Magic,” the story of a talented tech team that shipped the first hand-held personal communicator – a smartphone – in 1994.
