CLEVELAND, Ohio — The coronavirus loomed large over the Cleveland Clinic’s 18th annual Medical Innovation Summit, and talk of the pandemic dominated most of the panel discussions throughout Tuesday’s event.
Yet many of those discussions noted the pandemic has reinforced the need for innovation in health care. The value of being able to evolve, especially in the face of a crisis, has been on full display throughout 2020. And the disruption caused by the pandemic has given health care entities a unique opportunity to reconsider the way they operate.
