Akron’s RVshare, which has reported going gangbusters renting recreational trailers and motorhomes to travel-hungry but hotel-adverse clients this year, just got a $100 million capital infusion to support further growth.
The company announced Wednesday, Oct. 21, that the investment from KKR and RVshare’s existing Tritium Partners investors are putting more than $100 million into the company. RVshare declined to discuss further details or whether the investment would affect who has a controlling stake in the company, but a spokeswoman said the investment is in equity and that more details will be announced later.
