Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University will continue to work together on two new technology research hubs through the pair’s Internet of Things Collaborative.
A $3.1 million, two-year grant from the Cleveland Foundation will help push ahead the effort created between the two schools in 2017 to help “shape the Northeast Ohio region into a digital innovation leader,” according to a release.
The “Internet of Things” includes the many objects around the world that gather data and share it over the internet. That can include factory automation and health care devices, officials said.
