LIFT Aircraft to test flying car technology in Dayton region

Another out-of-state company is making plans to bring its flying car technology to the Dayton region.

LIFT Aircraft in Austin, Texas announced during a virtual Air Force event that two of its first-production “Hexa” aircraft are on the way to Ohio, where they will be stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport. There, the company will kick off its test program under the Phase II Agility Prime Small Business Innovation Research initiative the Air Force is sponsoring.
