Key4Women, SCORE Cleveland team up for business pitch contest

KeyBank’s Key4Women program and SCORE Cleveland announced they’re sponsoring a business pitch contest for women-owned businesses in 16 counties of Northeast Ohio.

The contest will have two tracks — one for startups and the other for existing businesses — and cash awards will total $22,000. A grand prize winner will win $10,000. (Go here for contest rules and to apply.)

The application deadline is July 31.

To be eligible, businesses must be 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women. They must also be headquartered in the following counties: Ashtabula, Carroll, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Harrison, Holmes, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas or Wayne.
