Cleveland onboarding firm Able acquired by Boston-based Bullhorn

Able, an 8-year-old Cleveland firm that helps employers onboard new talent, has been acquired by Bullhorn, a Boston cloud computing firm that, like Able, works with staffing and recruiting organizations.

The acquisition price was not disclosed.

In a telephone interview, Able CEO Gerald Hetrick said the move is a good fit.

“We found a great landing spot,” he said. “It allows us to continue our mission at greater scale.”

Hetrick said the business will continue to be based in Cleveland, though, he said, its 40 employees have been working remotely through the pandemic.
