Silicon Valley drone startup targeting Southwest Ohio for new jobs

A Silicon Valley startup with Cincinnati backers is targeting Southwest Ohio for an expansion.

Vantage Robotics, a speciality drone maker, recently announced plans to bring an undisclosed number of jobs to Ohio, after JobsOhio helped incentivize the expansion through its Growth Capital program. Officials from both Vantage Robotics and JobsOhio declined to share the value of that incentive.

Officials declined to share exactly where the new jobs will be located, but said the company is aware of the state’s existing talent pool within the emerging drone industry within Cincinnati, Dayton, Springfield and other markets.
