Ohio Tech Summit aims to bring techies, general public under one roof at John Carroll

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — The first Ohio Tech Summit, designed as a place for both techies and computer novices, is coming to John Carroll University’s campus in April.

The event is a collaboration between OhioX, a statewide tech nonprofit that started in 2019, and Scott Allen, a professor of management at JCU.

Allen and Ohio X President and CEO Chris Berry see great things happening in Ohio’s tech scene. The problem, they said, is it’s spread out, unconnected and most people don’t know about it.
