Israeli drone company to launch Dayton region manufacturing center
An international drone company is launching a new manufacturing facility in Dayton. It will mark the company’s first operation in the region, which has seen a surge of activity in the unmanned aerial vehicle market.
Based in Israel, Strix Drones will bring manufacturing of the first autonomous drone docking station to Dayton. An official project announcement from the company and the Dayton Region Israeli Trade Alliance is slated for Monday at Sinclair College’s downtown Dayton campus. Speakers at the event will include Sinclair President Steven Johnson, Montgomery County Commission President Carolyn Rice, and Strix Founder and CEO Niv Aharoni.
