JumpStart is hosting a pitch event this week, the first in a series of events designed to support Cleveland’s Black and Latino technology startup community.

Pitch Cypher is a “multi-organization, tech-centered community conceived to support historically underrepresented startup founders in Cleveland,” according to an email from JumpStart. It’s led by JumpStart Entrepreneur-In-Residence Camille Heard.

This week’s event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, at COhatch Ohio City. It’s being hosted alongside ECDI, The Presidents’ Council, The Urban League of Greater Cleveland and the Hispanic Business Center. The event is open to the public.
