Intel planning ‘historic engagement’ to ensure region benefits from investment, exec says ahead of Columbus Opportunity Forum

Intel is committed to ensuring its presence in Central Ohio helps to lessen inequalities in the region, a top company official says, pledging cooperation in combatting issues that have plagued faster-growing cities nationwide.

Jason Bagley, senior director of state government relations for Intel, is part of the team that decided where the California-based company would put its next big investment in chip-making capacity, ultimately choosing Central Ohio for what was initially billed as a $20 billion capital outlay.
