P&G, Microsoft announce manufacturing partnership

Cincinnati-based consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble on Wednesday announced a partnership with Microsoft to build the future of digital manufacturing.

P&G (NYSE: PG) announced June 8 it has signed a multiyear deal with Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) to use its Azure cloud computing platform to digitize and integrate data from more than 100 manufacturing sites around the globe, using that data to enhance its artificial intelligence, machine learning and edge computing services.
