Ohio startups raised $500 million in Q2: See which Greater Cleveland companies made big deals
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ohio companies nabbed $507 million worth of venture capital deals in the second three months of 2022, a strong quarter in what has been a mixed bag for venture capital across the U.S.
The money was spread across 48 separate deals, according to the Q2 2022 Venture Monitor, a report published by market data company Pitchbook and the National Venture Capital Association. The state is over the $500 million mark for just the fourth time since at least 2014.
