Foxconn introduces autonomous electric tractor at Lordstown plant

Foxconn EV Systems and Zimeno Inc. introduced the Monarch MK-V autonomous electric tractor to Northeast Ohio on Thursday during an event at Foxconn’s newly acquired electric vehicle plant in Lordstown, Ohio.

Earlier this month, Livermore, California-based Zimeno and its Monarch Tractor brand chose Taiwan-based Hon Hai Technology Group, better known as Foxconn, to manufacture the electric tractor at the 6.2 million-square-foot Trumbull County plant formerly owned by Lordstown Motors Corp. (Nasdaq: RIDE), the electric vehicle startup.
