Fairfield manufacturer to expand with technology center, 75 new jobs

A Trew, LLC in Fairfield is creating at least 75 new engineering jobs as it expands.

The automated materials handling solutions provider will be repurposing 50,000 square feet of its more than 200,000 square feet into a technology center to fuel material handling solution innovation, and the expansion project will receive up to $4 million in financial assistance from a JobsOhio Research and Development Grant for the $32 million total investment. JobsOhio is the state’s private economic development corporation.

The project has already started, officials said.
