Quipt’s $80M acquisition of Great Elm Healthcare gives company ‘near coast-to-coast’ operations

Fast-growing Quipt Home Medical Corp. is kicking off the new year on a high note as the company this week announced its largest acquisition to date, an $80 million deal that expands its footprint to 26 U.S. states and counting.

In the “milestone” deal, Wilder-based Quipt, a home medical equipment provider focused on respiratory care, acquired Mesa, Ariz.’s Great Elm Healthcare, a division of Great Elm Group (Nasdaq: GEG). The $80 million purchase price includes $73 million in cash.
