Columbus venture capital firm Heartland Ventures opens Cincinnati office

A Columbus venture capital firm has opened a Cincinnati office and hired an executive to make connections in the region.

Heartland raised a $52 million Fund II in November. That follows $15 million it had previously raised in Fund I. Add in some other special purpose vehicles and it has raised about $100 million in total.
