BRITE gets $25K grant to improve Grohl alley

WARREN — BRITE Energy Innovators, Ohio’s only energy technology startup incubator, has been awarded $25,000 from Main Street America and General Motors to support the Dave Grohl Alley Improvement Project.

The GM on Main Street Grant was among six announced Friday for nonprofits and municipal governments.

BRITE plans to implement the project over the summer and fall by building on recent investments from the Ohio Arts Council and local partners. This new funding will allow for greater connectivity between clean energy concepts and public art through the lens of rock and roll, according to BRITE.
