Case Western Reserve-led group wins $1M to speed ‘green’ manufacturing in NE Ohio
A regional collaboration led by Case Western Reserve University has won a $1 million grant from the National Science Foundation to create an “innovation engine” that accelerates sustainable manufacturing across Northeast Ohio.
If the collaboration members get their planning right during the next two years, they could compete for up to $160 million from the foundation’s Regional Innovation Engines Development program, which are to be awarded in 2025, Case Western Reserve said in a statement.
