Wendy’s to test underground robot technology for pick-up orders

Wendy’s has announced a new collaboration with hyperlogistics company Pipedream to launch a pilot program for an underground autonomous robot system to assist with pick-up orders.

The announcement comes as the Dublin-based company is also gearing up to test AI-powered chatbots at drive-thrus.
