TechOhio features the vibrant community of Ohio entrepreneurs and innovators helping grow the state’s technology economy. It shares the breakthrough technologies, cutting-edge research and innovative companies from across the state, with a particular focus on Ohio Third Frontier. The Ohio Third Frontier is a technology-based economic development initiative, and a part of the larger Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA). TechOhio speaks to Ohioans with an entrepreneurial spirit and the larger entrepreneurial community and innovators outside of Ohio. Both are key to growing the state’s technology economy. TechOhio inspires Ohioans with ideas, wherever they are in the entrepreneurial process. These stories of innovation will also show the world Ohio is the place to turn ideas into companies.
The editor of TechOhio will accept original content from Ohio entrepreneurs and companies writing about established Ohio businesses. Submissions should reflect innovation in Ohio, and be people or technology-related. They should be between 250-500 words, with pictures and/or video preferable. Pictures should be in JPEG format with a file size of at least 1Mb.
Potential Conflict of Interest Disclosure
The selection of original content is at the discretion of the editor, and TechOhio reserves the right to edit all submitted material. If there are substantial proposed changes, the editor will work with and seek approval from the contributor. Authors must fully disclose any interest (financial or otherwise) in subject matter, and the editor reserves the right to publish or reject any submission at its sole discretion.
Original content selected for TechOhio will credit the source/author, provide an excerpt and link to the full submission. TechOhio/ODSA reserves the right to decide when and where to publish submissions. They may be shared by TechOhio/ODSA across social media platforms.
